A Short History Of Financial Euphoria A Short History of Financial Euphoria is inspired by the famous work of economist John Kenneth Galbraith. The book exposes the ways in which normally sane people engage in reckless behavior while chasing profit, with a short financial memory setting the stage for market volatility. As a result, financial markets—and the wealth of investors—have fluctuated between periods of significant losses and great prosperity. Galbraith's exploration of recurring speculative bubbles throughout history strongly resonates with my own experience as a financial insider, having personally witnessed the emergence of several bubbles and extended period of wealth creation.
Unlike many artists who explore metaphysical or deeply psychological themes, my work in this series is firmly rooted in the tangible and the immediate. My canvases are filled with scenes directly inspired by the media and the daily experiences that populate my professional life. The characters in my works are not just imaginary, humorous figures, but representations of real people who surround me—colleagues, finance professionals, investors and more. This grounded approach to art should provide viewers with a vivid and witty depiction of the financial world, free from complicated language, intricate formulas, and abstract interpretations. The aim is to tell straightforward stories of ambition, success, failure, while navigating the emotional rollercoaster of financial euphoria. And, of course, to bring a smile.

E, naturalmente, far sorridere.
